Healthy eating doesn’t have to be boring and restrictive – remember everything in moderation!
Ingredients
Ingredients:- 2 cups of self raising flour
- 1 tsp. bicarbonate soda
- 1 tsp. ground nutmeg
- ¼ cup castor sugar
- 125 grams of chopped dates
- 1 cup of milk
- 2 eggs
- 2 mashed bananas
- ¼ cup of chopped walnuts
Method
- Turn your oven to 180° Celsius and place baking paper into a cake tin (shape of the tin doesn’t matter but a log shape works well)
- Sift your flour, bicarb soda and nutmeg into a bowl
- Then add your chopped dates and walnuts into the dry mixture
- In another bowl place your milk, eggs and mashed bananas and combine
- Combine all of your ingredients by folding your dry mixture through your wet ingredients
- Place combined mixture into your cake tin and place in oven for approx. 45 minutes
- Allow to cool most of all ENJOY!
